had my mk4 22/45 lite out and shot 250 rounds with no issues. When I got home I noticed the barre was loose and tilted side to side very slightly

I submitted a service request to Ruger and once I submitted my info online it said my serial number was affected by a recall for a safety issue. Wtf.

Anyone have any issues with there barrel nut coming loose?

Wonder what the serial number range is. Mind sharing part of your serial #?

The safety recall is a few years old and happened soon after the MK4 was released.

They will replace the safety bar and a few other pieces in the gun.
You will send in only the lower part of the gun.
They should send you a box and label.
You get it back and you will notice the letter S will now display In the little red and white window area when the safety is on.
They should give you a free magazine when shipped back.

I’m less concerned with the safety as I have never had any issues with that. I’m concerned about the barrel nut unthreading from the barrel/end of the upper where it is attached.
