New ACT-Mags is you like the ones off of EE. I have used these; work fine. I also find used OEM mags on occasion for $20.

Aimsurplus.com has used ones from time to time. They most likely come from the police trade in guns they get.

Experience with mags in a rental at a small lgs:
Pro-mag: will not drop free, mag swells when full. Fed ok. Ets mags: will not drop free, mag swells when full. some issues feeding. Took it out of service because of complaints. Factory mag: no issues |

I have a pair of Gen 1 M&Ps with many factory mags. No issues on any level for me.

Too bad Mec-Gar does not make any for the M&P's. I use them in my 5903 and they are great.

I'm going to disagree with the majority when it comes to Act mags. They are ok range mags, but I would not carry them. I've had a couple hiccups with them in otherwise totally reliable pistols.
