Yesterday I ran an IDPA match with my 13 round HK45 mag, and it didn't slide lock. When I racked it back it, the slide didn't lock back. Later found out that the follower isn't fully rising to the top of the mag well. Hoping this is just a simple weak spring. Any suggestion where to pick up one for the 13 round mag?

I wasn't aware of a HK45 13 round mag - only the 10 rounders. What brand is it?

Are you using the one from hkparts? Ive got one of their prebuilt 13 rounders and have had good luck with it so far...although Ive only used it a dozen times or so.

I got the magazine from HK parts. Says its origins are from Germany/USA

Ditch those gimmicky garbage mags and go back to the factory stuff.

You can't take a 10 round mag and slap a follower allowing for 3 more rounds onto it and expect the spring to be able to keep up.

If you want 13 rounds, get a USP Expert and compete with that
