I have three S&W revolvers that could use a barrel rotation tweak.  Two are fixed sight, a J frame .32 S&W Long, a K frame model 64 .38, and an L frame 686 that is visibly mistimed and of course the adjustable windage cannot adjust that far.

Anyone use the MGW action wrench with the delrin type inserts?  I am thinking about making the investment.

I bought a bunch of complete parts kits that were S&W revolvers. Most had the frame nub still on the barrel. I was amazed how easy they came off.

I could make that easily enough.

I looked again at my model 64 and it hit me, that it’s pinned.

I guess I have to redrill if pinned.  1. drive out pin, 2. reposition barrel. 3. drill the barrel using the existing hole in frame as a guide. 4. Tap in back in.
