I have a steel Italian police surplus 1951 and really like it. Trigger is much better than a 92 imo, feels like a 1911. Has the neat push button safety at top, and push button mag release at bottom. Finger stop on the mag isn't very useful unless you have large hands. Just plain fun.

I had an Egyptian copy 30 years ago. It was an interesting design and went bang every time. I paid $200 for it and had to get spare mags from Triple K.

Have one, a Policia di Stato piece. Interesting rig. The safety is odd but works. It takes some getting used to. Likewise the mag release takes some practice as well. Mine is very accurate. Trigger is a bit stiff, common with single action Berettas. Mags aren't to hard to find. Ebay has a surprisingly large selection of grips.

 Israeli police issue gun. It shoots surprisingly well for its cosmetic condition. Every once and a while it just refuses to extract, but it's a fun gun not a life-depends-on-it. |
