This looks pretty awesome. I have called a few dealers and so far no one has them or even knew about them. Hope to find one before the first round gets snatched up and resold on gunbroker.

If it's anything like the USMC marked Colt 1911's they will go for a premium.

Kind of want. Surprised SIG actually got them back.
I'm guessing a painful price tag. |
|
Interesting it's only being offered as a CPO, so it only caries a one year warranty.

I was going to pick up the new M18 but now I’m interested in these M17’s.

We are able to offer these Sig Sauer M17's for Pre-Order at LE/MIL IOP pricing as they have been released to us. We currently have a limited quantity inbound.
At this time we have exceeded our orders for the allotted amount we are receiving from SIG. |

That's really cool. If I was more of a collector and didn't own 2 commercials already I'd consider getting one.
These, like the USMC marked M45A1s will only go up in value. |

The going rate appears to be $699 for those planning to order through one of the many online shops selling as an intermediary from a distributor. Have a date with my FFL tonight, going to see what he can do.

Not going to pay $100+ more for a beat up M17 with FDE controls with a 1 year warranty.

Not often a surplus military guns come to market. If you don't care about the military pedigree buy the commercial version, or buy another gun altogether. I wonder if CDNN will be getting any in. They seem to have the largest CPO SIG inventory, and the best prices.

@ProvenArmsOutfitters:
I see your website has been updated to show you’re no longer taking orders. If we ordered yesterday and received a confirmation email, are we good to go? |

We are able to ship these to Colorado with the correct credentials and FFL information, but will have to do a magazine swap to 15 round magazines if you are not active Law Enforcement. View Quote |

According to a thread over on Sig Talk, about 1,500 of these might be released and a few more could come out at a later date. This is a fraction of how many M17 commemorative pistols were released (5,000), so these will be quite the collector's item! I wouldn't be surprised if they started changing hands at $2k+ once they're sold out.
I've prepaid for a few with my local dealer. If you're looking for a dealer, Google search for a Sig Elite rated dealer. There's only about a dozen Elite dealers in the country and according to Sig Talk they're the only dealers receiving these surplus guns. The non mil/le price is $843. |
