Hi to all,

I have a Mauser Luger (1940) , with original walnut grips. The Panels a shrunk a little as they are loose in the frame..   Is there something I can put on the grip panels in an attempt to avoid cracking or chipping?  I don't want to detract from the value but believe it or not I shoot it once in a while.  The gun a is good shape with all matching except the magazine (of course). Any thoughts??

I put a set of reproduction walnut from Sarco on mine to save the old ones.
Honestly the repos are pretty darn good.
I think they cost about 20 bucks but that was many years ago.
