I want to diversify my handgun collection.  I have a bunch of Glocks, a Sig M17 Surplus, and a Sig P226 MK25.  I was thinking about a revolver.  I need some input.  If I went revolver, what would you guys suggest?  Just give me some ideas!

Smith and Wesson without the Hillary hole ,Ruger with a trigger job. If ya like .357 the Ruger SP101 is a no brainer. Single action Rugers are nice too. For the fit ,finish, and power a Freedom Freedom Arms 83 in 454 Casull is superb . If you can find the older S&W pinned and recessed double action revolver they are IMHO some of the nicest revolvers ever made. Colt Pythons are nice too.

Key lock on the frame over the cylinder latch that disables the weapon.

I'm gonna go against the grain and recommend a ruger blackhawk in 45 colt!

They are an absolute riot with light loads, smoky black powder loads and near 454 casull thumper loads. I personally like em short (3.5-4 5/8") they make them with convertable cylinders too that allows it to shoot 45 acp if you'd like that option. The bisley models are nicer to shoot full power loads with but nothing bad with the traditional either.

I agree on the 686 or match champion but a regular gp100 with a trigger job is pretty awesome.  Thing is it's not hard to do the job yourself

If I were to buy another revolver I'd looking closely at a Wiley Clapp Ruger. Seems to have everything a fighting revolver should have.

If you really want different, look at a Webley or Schofield top break. Big bore fun.

My LGS has a matte silver one of these in .357.  What’s a good price on these?  They have it at $869

^^^Prices are about that for new while used are a couple hundred cheaper. Another option would be the GP100 Talo Edition with a 7 round cylinder, not mine but a pic I found.

If you want a revolver for a woods gun or range toy...

Ruger Super Blackhawk in 357 with a spare 9mm cylinder or same gun in 45 colt with a spare 45 ACP cylinder.

If you want an all around do damn near everything revolver... 4" 686 or 586 before Hillary hole

The responses above aren't very "different".....pretty much the same old shit everyone buys.

For something a bit different, I would go with a Dan Wesson Super Mag. 357/375/414/445

I'll probably get flamed for this but personally, I'd get one of the new Colts. Either the 3" king cobra for a woods/carry gun or a 4" or 6" (which ever your prefer) Python for a range gun.

If not, a pre lock S&W 65 3" for carry or a 4 or 6" (again your preference) 586/686 for the range are very solid choices. If you can find a good condition 19 for the right price that would be really sweet but these days pre-lock smiths cost almost as much as the new Colts.

Rugers work but meh . Dan Wessons are hard to find. Everything else is

Was in my LGS again today, and saw a CZ Shadow 2.  Those seem really nice.  Either that, or the Orange

For a full power round in a revolver, I have a S&W model 657 4" barrel, .41 magnum. It has a lot of power, but, not as much kick as a .44 magnum and a lot more controllable than a .44 magnum. Unfortunately, Safariland stopped making the Comp speed loaders for the .41 magnum (I do have several for my .41 that I bought years ago). The Safariland Comp are the best and quickest speed loaders on the market for revolvers.

A .357 magnum wouldn't be bad either. And, Safariland still makes speed loaders for .357 magnum.
