Was on sale at Cabela's, and it came with the "Gear Up" promotion (already with the gun) which includes 5 magazines, hard case, range bag, OTW holster, and mag holster. After applying my Cabela's points, I feel like I stole it.
 It's VERY easy to rack the slide - my wife did no problem. Kinda excited. I'll try to post back with a range report later. We only carry pistols with manual safeties, so I'm stoked to have run across this.

It looks like an interesting gun. I didn't realize it was a single stack pistol.

Was the lack of a manual safety a deal breaker for the Hellcat? I'm snagging the OSP as soon as it comes in stock. Will replace my XDS as my carry piece.

Well, my wife has claimed this one. She says it's the easiest to rack slide of any pistol we have, and she's not wrong. She found a nice purse holster on the interwebs. Kinda sad, because I really like it.

Springfield really makes some nice guns,even if they acquired them from elsewhere. I wish they would make a double stack XD-E, as the platform has so many things going for it. I really want to get my hands on the Hellcat to see what it is like.
