Hey all.  Does anyone have a link or a recommendation that  gives the details on doing a clean up for the gizzards in a J frame or any other S&W.
I’ve found a few videos but they show bits and pieces but not enough details. I’m not interested in getting crazy on this just a little polish while I have a few opened up to remove the silly locks. Any direction would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

The kuhnhausen smith and Wesson book is an excellent reference for that. Basically same process for all the smith revolvers. Other than size the innards are basically the same.  

I will recommend no matter how tempted you may be, never touch the single action notch on the hammer. NEVER.
