I owned one about thirty years ago and I'm pretty sure I had a speed loader for it.

I have HKS loaders, but loading the loaders take as much time as just loading them into the pistol two at a time by hand.
Funny that I shot my Model 17 less than an hour a go.  Wife was blasting with her 422 and 10 round mags. If you need the speed of mags, use mags. It was a rimfire range day:

Used to use a HKS speedloader in .22 WMR for my 4" 651. That one work as advertised.
