Quoted: Is this the P320 Fauxland thread? I put this guy together with a frame/fcg from an X5 Legion and found it makes shooting half decent damn near effortless. That Legion trigger is fantastic compared to all my Glocks. I wasn't that impressed with it at the store because the pull is a lot worse without a mag inserted to take out the vertical slide/frame play, but dry fire at home with the mag and of course live fire is a different story. I think I might take the magwell off and order a floodlight to try carrying it. https://i.imgur.com/5bjEGyK.jpg View Quote It sure is! Nice gun. I'm still using mine as my primary EDC. Anyone know of any setups that will end up flush with the front of a long dustcover frame? I'd like one that is compatible with my safariland holsters, so I'd need it to be the same overall length as a 4.7" setup.

Quoted: Primary Mountain Machine has a few options that will give you what you're looking for, depending on the size of compensator and barrel length you're looking for View Quote I have a spare 3.9 slide laying around, I’ll do some looking and see if they have anything that will work with that length. |
|
[#10]
I have a xcarry 3.9 slide and got a threaded barrel and a herrington arms single top-port comp...it's flush on the bottom--but that part angles up, matching the lines of the frame, and the comp sticks out. I'd call it perfect, but if you mean you want the entire compensator flush with the 4.7" frame, you'd likely need to go to the 3.6" and find a shorter comp.
|
|
[#11]
My setup pictured above is a 3.6" slide and the pmm jttc ultra comp. They also have a non-ultra jttc single port that would hit the 4.7" length with a 3.9" slide. The "micro" single port would be too short.
BDU has a good price on the Zev slide I used if you want to get an xcompact. |

Just heard from the rep from Holosun, they’re sending me a brand new 508T X2! It would’ve been free, but I opted to upgrade to the green dot version, so it cost me $30. Still, $30 for a NIB 508T X2 G is a pretty smoking deal! I’m extremely pleased. It’ll ship out tomorrow

I spoke with Sig CS over the phone. Unsurprisingly given the extent of the modifications there isn’t really anything they can do to evaluate why the problem might be happening, and due to the round count the gun’s out of warranty. They recommended purchasing a replacement striker assembly. They also said it would be about time for the 4-5,000 round detail strip, cleaning, spring replacement, and evaluation. So in addition to the striker assembly I’ll need to buy the replacement springs and whatnot for the service, then take it in to my gunsmith to have the gun detail stripped, cleaned, and re-assembled.
Does anyone have a list of the small parts and springs that are supposed to get replaced at the 4-5,000 round mark? |

Yeah according to the list another member posted in my thread specific to this problem the only thing that needs replaced around the 5,000 round mark is the RSA, which was replaced with an aftermarket DPMS kit relatively recently. Probably just going to order a replacement striker assembly and take it to my gunsmith to get detail stripped and cleaned |

After quite a bit of consideration I’ve reached the decision to start a new chapter of this project using a new pistol as a base for building on, which means my experiments with the P320 platform are coming to a close. I’ll be ordering the new pistol this coming week, and will start a new project thread on it when I have it in my possession.
I’ve ordered a replacement striker assembly for the P320 - once I have that into the gun and have it functional again, the pistol will be going up for sale on consignment at a local store. The 508T and the X300U will get cannibalized for use in the new pistol, but other than those two parts I’ll be starting new with everything |
