It's a crap picture, but...

625-3, 5". Chamfered edges in the cylinder, reloads just drop right in. Wonderful trigger, smooth as glass. It makes me feel like a really slow Jerry Miculek.

The best part? I traded a Gen 4 glock 21 for it, straight across.

I like it too.  I hate those Hogue rubbers.  I prefer these:

Hogue rubber grips.
RIP  webs of your hand haha. A wood set of grips would make that drop dead

Nice OP! Great trade too! The 625 is my next gun purchase whenever funds allow .

This one was on my short list for a range shooter revolver...in the end I landed up with a 627 Pro. The 8 shot coupled to .38/.357 is what sold me on it. I sent it off to a local revolver gunsmith and had it worked over...the thing is beautiful to shoot.

I'll say that that revolver is still on my "someday" list...

As for grips, I landed up getting these:

My hands sweat, I like rubber grips...what I DO NOT like are stupid finger grooves...which suck.

Those smooth grips are perfect and have served me well.

Very nice! As I've been jonesin' for a 625, I've been looking at grips too and decided I don't like most of the options out there, but there's a few that I'll be looking hard at to switch out mine whenever I get one. I'll add this one to the list of potentials.

ETA: I just scrolled back up to see if you listed the brand/model of the grips and see they aren't mentioned. Which grips are they?

I had used my 625 as a bowling pin gun and even shortly in IDPA, great gun!

Any recommendations for fiber optic/tritium front sights, or perhaps three-dot systems?

Did you get the Pau Ferro wood?  Looks nice.

The EWK fiber optic on my 625 pictured above is magnificent for old eyes..

Love .45 ACP revolvers but prefer mine blued. Even though it's an N Frame it looks a little petite next to a Dan Wesson .44 mag.

That is why one chooses the correct frame for the caliber.  You sir have passed the test too!
