Step 1: Start large well funded police or military force.
Step 2: Solicit bids for new 10mm handgun with specs very close to USP or VP series. Step 3: Profit Short of that, pipe dream. |

I desperately desire an HK10 full size with 15 - 17rd capacity.
IE the HK45 in 10mm. Then I'll take the HK10C as well. |

HK doesn't even make the MP5/10 anymore, and you think they want your money?

You have to dremel the front of the ejection port jus a little in order to eject live rounds. Prices on everything went crazy just as I was ready to try this myself. If USP40 trade in guns come back down to dirt cheap like they were I'll do it. |

10mm rounds will not fit in a .40 magazine. Full stop.
A .45’s May or may not be able to accept a blank .40 barrel reamed it to 10mm and tweak the mags lips of a .45 magazine to work in a .45 frame like the old Sig 220 conversions. |

It was a USP40, I know, because I have one waiting to do the conversion myself. It didn't use the usp mags, I think they were modified sti's. I printed out his thread and put it in the box with the pistol.
ETA- Or all doubt can be removed by watching his video... USP40 grows up |

How to entice HK to do something ...
1) NEVER admit to them you're a lowly civilian and/or not representing a prestigious LE agency. 2) Delivery a PSDP (product specifications data package) with a PO (purchase order) for at least 10,000 units. The PSDP would stipulate 10mm. 3) Hand them a check with a .gov somewhere on it. BTW, I love HK. HK is the only "brand" that elicits fanboism in me. My first was a HK USP45. Just like the first girl I ... anyway ... |
