Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - How many mags are new XD9SC defenders coming with?

So I bought a XD9SC defender about 2 weeks ago and it only came with one mag, a 13 rounder.
So today I was back at the same shop and they had the same gun in the case with a 16 rounder with sleeve and said it comes with 2 mags.
Did I get ripped off or what?

Is the defender series the cardboard box deal?

If so, yes. I picked up a 4” XD-9 and it only came with one mag. Palmetto lists the same as coming with only one mag and Springfield lists the Subcompact as shipped with one mag.
