Magtech 9mm pistol ammo seems to be on sale at a few places.

I believe it's made in Brazil.

How is reliability and accuracy with this brand?

Thanks

for the FMJ I have shot a ton of 9mm at the range.

Never had  a problem with light primer strikes or anything of that nature.  Not any dirtier than your standard blazer or Remington rounds.

if you are asking about their HP not sure never tried it.

Same exact report here...

When I find it on the cheap I buy it.

Only issue to report is I had an issue with a case of their 10mm. Was weak. Although I was breaking in my RI 10mm A1 1911. Will shoot more to make sure it wasn't the ammo.

I’ve shot thousands and thousands of rounds of the 9,40, and 45. I’ve shot a little of the rifle ammo but not much. I also sold pallets of the stuff when I was in the business and it’s reliability was on par with any of the best I have shot and used.

While I haven’t shot it in a while because the American stuff has been the cheapest I could find for the last few years I would have no problem buying it by the truckload.

It's fine.  The bright blue boxes are smaller and take up less room in the ammo cans.

I got 1600rounds of 9mm in a 50 can. And it shot just fine.

Haha. I like this “feature” of their boxes also.

Like someone else mentioned their 10mm is on the weak side. I haven’t had any issues shooting their 9mm.

I used to shoot a lot of their Guardian Gold SD line. That stuff was hot.

230gr @ 1007fps

185gr @ 1150fps

I did chrono those loads from a GI length 1911, and was well within specs , and the extreme spread was very small, and SD was very small. It was very accurate ammo.

I never had any issues feeding from Colts, Prara P14-45, and even a cheap RIA.

It works very well. I've only shot pests and one pit bull, but it did the job.

It is reasonably accurate and functions fine. I buy whatever is cheapest for range use, sometimes it’s magtech.

During a recent range trip Magtech .40 S&W 180 gr. was the only ammo that wouldn't feed in any of my guns. Bad lot maybe?

I've had no issues with it.

It's good ammo and I've shot a lot of their 9mm and.40.

The .380 is cleaner than most other brands.
