Had an issue with my Holosun 508t a month or so ago and sent it in for repair. Unit would occasionally just not turn on or randomly turn off while shooting…unacceptable on a defensive weapon. Finally figured out it wasn’t something I was doing so sent it in to HS.  Unit was bought a year ago and saw constant service on my carry gun, a Springer Champion in .45.

Zero hassle from HS. Gave me a shipping label and 3-4 weeks later I got the return shipping tracking number.  Brand new unit.

I’m in the process of building confidence back on it but so far rock solid.

Yeah I’d prefer something that never fails but if a company will step up and make it right, I’ll give’em a second chance.

Several manufacturers had the problem you describe.  Sig had to replace my Romeo for the same issue.  I thought it had poor battery life, but it was more serious.  They gave me a new one in pretty short order.  It sure learned me on the importance of either tall suppressor sights, or flip up KNS backup sights.

I have two Holosuns and no issues at all.

My holosun 407c is starting to flicker and fade.
I dont have a receipt and I cant remember which online vendor I got it from.
Its a earlier gen with a bottom mounted battery.  
So reading their warranty page it looks like I am screwed.

On your 407, id contact them with an approximate purchase date and see what they say. Nothing lost but a few minutes of your time.

Yeah I think your right.  It worth a try.

I thought I was having issues with a Holosun 509t I bought on EBay and they took care of it no questions asked.
