Anyone use these? Specifically on a Super Redhawk. Curious as to the fit/finish and size, compared to factory rubber.

Hogue will blow away the factory grips for fit and finish.

Hogue makes some nice G10 grips too.

The factory finger grooves are comfortable with recoil, but the spacing is all wrong for my hand. I ordered a set with checkering and no grooves. Hopefully these work out well and I'll start replacing all my rubber revolver grips.

I have a set of Hogues on a S&W K frame, the wooden grips seem to be larger than the rubber grips.

I actually prefer Nills for their ergonomics, they all fit my hands perfectly well.

I've only heard good things about Nills.

I'm going to see how I like the Hogues on my two SRHs. If I can handle hot .44 and .454 with them ok, I'll invest in something custom. They are extremely comfortable to shoot from the factory, but the finger grooves don't match my hands well.

That is exactly my problem. While the rubber grips with grooves fit my hand well, I never felt very comfortable with the wooden Hogue revolver grips. I bought the pictured set because I find those Hogues very appealing. I have given them and the guns to one of the kids.

I have Nills on most of my guns and am very happy with them. I have tried all kind of grips, from all American makers over Klinsky's to Nills and find that Nills are ergonomically the the best and also shine when it comes to fit.

...but then I also gave the Ruger Super Redhawk to one of the kids :).

They just came in!

I like the looks, we'll have to see how they feel shooting.

I purchased this Redhawk in 1984 and got Hogue grips for it. Back then you drew an outline of your hand and sent it with the order form. They fit my hand perfect, many rounds through this pistol. The wood has darkened a bit in 36 years.
I still have his old order form from then also.

That's really cool. I've heard of that, but never sure how well it actually fit.

This is what came on the pistol, not really adequate for that round. LOL

I've purchased two sets of the Match Champion grips from Ruger, which I believe are made by Hogue. Both were were unacceptably wobbly and went back to the retailer. That's a small data point for you, but enough to make me personally highly skeptical.

Put me down as another fan of the Nills grips. I have a set on my Redhawk and they are very nice. They required a little fitting to get them on but they are very secure. Not the slightest bit of movement even after 1000+ rounds of 44mag through the gun.
