I have a line on a couple of hi power mkiii’s, which are Israeli mkiii variants(small safety, cast frame, no firing pin safety).  Is there any benefit to these over standard mkiiis(firing pin safety models that were commercially available in the us)?

The safety is a non issue since I’ll probably install c&s fcg/safety parts, but is there any benefit to having a non firing pin safety slide?
