[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Hadn't seen one in a Long time.....

Pawn shop had a like new, unmolested Norinco 1911 today. $300....Ive owned several over the years including a Commander version...Always ended up customizing them....sights, triggers, etc....Just easier to buy a "better" gun these days.......Still, neat to see one...

That's a $500 pistol in this area. I see one or two a year on the gun show circuit. For $300 I would have snatched it right up and the last thing I need right now is another 1911.

They go for $500+ on Gunbroker all day in that condition. You gotta snap stuff like that right up! Price is only going up.

You and me both. But I'll buy a $300 1911 pretty much every time, unless it's got REALLY serious issues.

Meh, I have all the 1911's I'll ever need and I don't buy guns to "flip" them....It was just an interesting find. .
