Holy shit this is probably the best 45 acp pistol on the market.
Took mine out and could not miss. Ragged hole 10 shot groups this thing is a laser. That is all

I have smallish girl sized hands and my USP .40 barely fits. Not sure if the USP 45 is larger but I can’t imagine it isn’t. I would love a HK 45 compact however.

I dumped my USPC45 for the HK45 and never looked back.
There is no comparison in the grips on those guns. The USP grip feels like grabbing on to a large LEGO piece while the HK45 fits like it was designed perfectly for a human hand. The USP's are great guns.....I simply have no interest in them any longer since the dawn of the P30, VP9, HK45. |

I just traded a new unfired HK45CT I took on trade for a 9mm P226R and a ton of extras. Not because the HK wasn't impressive, I simply consolidated calibers to just 9mm this past year so it had to go. It felt great in hand though.

The 10 round mags suck, but it's a nice pistol. I have 4 USP variants in 45. I also have the HK45CT, but may get a full size HK45T eventually.

What's more annoying is you can actually stuff 11 rounds into the magazine, not that I'd recommend doing it. HK really could push their magazine a bit more, and I really wish they would, especially with the new floor plate/spring/follower design they gave to the 9mm magazines. If only the HK45 were the HK10

If the HK45 had the capacity of the USP, it’d be pretty much perfect. I have each of them, and both are great guns. But dat HK45 grip.

How does the recoil impulse feel, between the two of them? I've only ever fired a full size USP in 9mm, been curious of the 45 variant in how it compares to the HK45. I've always been confused with HKs decision to abandon their recoil spring design from the full size USP in the P30/HK45 full size variants. |

The newer long extractors aren't my cup of tea. |
