I was looking at those online the other day.  I like how they look, and wouldn't mind getting one.  My friend has a standard LCP 9 as her CCW pistol and she likes it.

I kind of dig it. Still rocking my first gen I bought in 2010. No issues with it, but if that's a stainless slide, that sort of interests me. Depending on price and availability I may have to consider one.

I like the slide serrations, it looks nice.  I just can't see paying almost 2x as much for it.

Nice looking pocket pistol! Wish you would of cleaned it before first firing session so I wouldn't have to wait for your 2nd range outing to see if problem rectified by a good cleaning.

Sent my jam-o-metic back to Ruger today so they can unfuck it. :-(

So what was it doing? Either you get a good new Ruger or you don't. Earlier last year brother bought new GP100. When loaded cylinder wouldn't rotate? Sent it back. He had it back within 2 weeks he said, and problem corrected. Still, tired of hearing these new out of box problem  stories. I'd be angry too.

I thought the 10th anniversary ones were $299?  PSA has had the regular ones for $169 for forever.  It's definitely worth $19 more, but I wouldn't pay almost 2x as much for it.

I wouldn't pay more for the inferior LCP than I would for the superior LCP II.

See my thread a few months ago. https://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=5&f=32&t=182345

Ruger took my first gen LCP, rebuilt it, and returned it in less time than two weeks, runs great now. No reason to think they won’t hook you up.....

I'm going to pick up an LCP II this week at a local shop. They're on sale for $219.99.

Any one else pick one up? More pics?

I had the lcp custom but traded it and am now considering this one.

I understand it's the same as custom but silver and no metal guide rod or tall sights?

It has a metal guide rod.

The reason I didn’t like the Custom was the tall sights. This is the LCP that has all the features I want, and none that I don’t.

Good to know. Thanks

The Sweet Pea trigger does do wonders for the gun. I have one in mine and without changing the trigger pull weight, it makes the pull lighter,if that makes sense.

Every time I see the price of these LCP's I die a little inside.  I bought mine in 2014, with a stainless slide, and it was around $365.  Then Ruger dropped the price, a LOT.  The stainless slide is nice though.  Mine has run like a top, zero problems and is pretty accurate for a tiny gun.

Does it get rid of the false reset?  I sold my LCP because I couldn’t stand the false reset.

You can adjust for over travel and pre-travel but it doesn't change the internal mechanisms. All I can say is that it feels much nicer. The flatter/fuller face on the after market trigger makes a big difference for me just like in my Glock,(not a Galloway). Is it worth the extra $40-50? To me, absolutely.

My wife has the LCP Custom, it was mine but she liked it so much she kept it. I don't know why Ruger didn't make the Custom the main LCP pistol in their line up. It has everything you want on a little gun- real sights, upgraded trigger and steel guide rod. It is amazing the accuracy the Custom LCP is capable of with real sights. It no longer becomes a point and shoot pistol. By far, it is the best one,(in my opinion), of the LCP line.
