Really happy with it, I went with the DLC and it took 5 1/2 weeks. Worth the wait. Only thing that I regret is the forward irons, I love them on the current set up, but a couple weeks after I mailed it off the RMR HD was unveiled and it won't work with irons forward. Oh well, the Holosun works great and has the features I like.

It was $235 shipped with the sights and DLC upgrade. Screws for the Holosun are 4-40 x 5/16" TORX T10

Got my slide back from Battle Werx today too. Very pleased with the work done. The DLC coating is awesome.

Nope. I'm very happy with the 508T. If I were going to change it, I'd go Trijicon now that the RMR-HD has the features (reticle options, top loading battery) I want.

BW is a great company. I had a G48 slide milled for a RMRcc a couple years ago. Not sure how it happened but one of the screw lugs stripped out (I think it was my fault- possibly cross-threaded it) when I installed the optic.
I reached out to BW customer service and shipped back the slide. They fixed it and sent it back with no charge, despite me asking and offering to pay for the repair. Great folks and the workmanship is great as well.

BW does fantastic work, here is my G26.3 they modified for me. And yes the DLC that BW does is fantastic.

Can you tell me more about the mag funnel on your G45?

The DLC looks nice. I’ve got a police trade in G22 that the slide finish is just wrecked, tons of holster wear and scratches. I think I’m going to send it to Battlewerx for a DLC refinish. I’m just trying to decide if I want an RMR cut as well. I have zero plans currently to run an optic on it. But they offer cover plates and plans could change in the future so it might be better to get it cut while it’s there.

I’m the complete opposite.

Once I tried pistol optics I knew there was no going back. I’ve got 4 Glocks with RMR’s and rarely shoot my other irons only pistols.
