Picked up a 915 complete slide for cheap and decided to turn one of my 6906's into a two-tone long slide.
Apparently handgun modularity isn't a fresh and new idea.

Swapped slides on my 5906 and 3913 one time. Didn't fire either, but I didn't see any reason why there would've been a problem.

I have a 5906 with a 5904 slide as well as a 3953 with a 5946 slide. Shoot them often. There is a lot of interchangeability with S&W 2nd and 3rd Gen autos.

Big Blue built factory guns with mixed and matched slides from other models.
 The 5903 SSV is a 5903 frame with a 6904 slide and barrel. |

The extended magazine for the 6906 is a replacement baseplate for 5900 series magazines made by Precision Gun Specialists.
http://www.precisiongunspecialties.com/ It is their Grip Plus 2 magazine adapter. I have some and can gladly send them to you. |
