Okay, I bought a set of aftermarket grips for my Rhino. I love them. They feel great in the hand.

Only one problem. They don't fit. I sent them back and got another set that don't fit, so I guess it's up to me.

Now, the Rhino revolver uses a set of grips that are shaped like a cup, and you slide the bottom (like a knife tang if you like,) into it and put a screw in the bottom to hold them on.

Problem is the screw hole in the gun doesn't line up with the screw hole in the grips.

So I have two options. Drill a new hole, and fill the old one in with some kind of compound, (The grips are listed as some kind of high impact resin,) and I think I might be able to fill in any gaps with epoxy.

I sent off for this epoxy.  https://www.amazon.com/Permatex-84145-Permapoxy-Black-Plastic/dp/B00THUUVSU  Anyone have an opinion on it in regards to high impact resin grips?

My other option is to grind on the inside of the grips until the 'holes move into alignment.'

So I need advice on how to figure out where to do my grinding if I go with that option. I can't see inside when I slide the gun 'tang' into the hole, so I can't be sure where it's hitting. I don't have any marking fluid, (I sent off for some of that too, but I'm just mad eager to get to work.)

Anyone got any ideas on how I can work on this?

Got pics?  Grip removed, inside the grip, couple angles of the frame?

EDIT TO ADD. The Rhino uses a cup shaped washer, which fits in the large hole outside the small hole, and I did have to file a good bit to get the image where you can see the 'off center' cut screw.

I got that image by taking one of the long screws and cutting the head off with a dremel tool so I could see where the hole was 'suppose to be' relative to where it was.

Gah, I love these grips but fitting them isn't in my skill set! Hints and tips please?

I guess no one has any good ideas. I'm just going to return them.
