I've just bought a box of Fiocchi 44mag SJSP 240gr. I'm a bit worried because the manual says use fmj.
These ammo are jacketed with a lead nose:

Could this cause trouble to the gas port?

My preferred method of testing questionable ammo is to wear this leather gloves and turn my face away for the first few rounds.

Not recommending it. Just sayin'.

Those will be just fine.  They have no exposed lead at the base or sides.  They will cause no issues with the gas system.

I have shot a lot of Winchester 240 gr. JSP through my .44 DE.  This style of bullet works great in these guns.

Those should be just fine. I run 240 grain JSP in mine and it runs like a champ.
