For sure. Today, $340 isn't a lot of money. If you get it, please post pictures.

Make sure you understand which version this is. Some of them are true to the original in design/function. Some of them are more similar to the S&W 59 - there are some variations in the functional details.

It is the original browning design

For today's prices I'd pull the trigger. But again, what model of FEG are you purchasing? If you can "find" a copy, there is a well written inexpensive book "Decoding the FEG Hi-Power" by Jerry Paregien. Good luck!

Buy it or send me the info so I can.

If you seriously have to ask, then you might as well pass.

At $340 I would buy it in a heartbeat and I already own a FEG.

For that price, yes. They are good clones, just tend to have some sharp corners around the beavertail.

Made it the range with her.  Great shooter.  Just need to replace the Pachmayrs on her.

Looks like somebody replaced the hammer with a C&S part. Extra bonus for the Browning ambi safety. Maybe it has the C&S sear, too?

Great deal, OP.

This^

It looks like a “No Bite” hammer.

The P9 is a straight up Pre Mk II Hi Power clone with 100% parts compatibility.
The 1st Gen P9M is a P9 with a 1911 style slide release, other wise it’s a P9.
The 2nd Gen P9M is still a single action pistol but it uses a S&W style locking system and has little compatibility with the Hi Power. It does however use the Hi Power magazine.

There is also the FEG P9R, which is an entirely different design, a SA/DA pistol based on the S&W 59 but without parts or magazine compatibility.

What you are considering is an FEG second generation P9M.  They look identical to a Hi Power, except there is no oval on the side of the frame from the cross bolt found on the Hi Power, as seen below on this P9

There were FEG P9s and P9Ms with spur hammers but round hammers were the most common.

Cylinder and Slide parts fit the P9 and 1st Gen P9M just fine with no more fitting them than is required for a Browning Hi Power.
