I’m making 1911 grips. Want some feed back on these.
The bottom bevel specifically.  Attached File Attached File Attached FileNot trying to advertise. I’m looking for honest feed back. Lots of grips come with different bevels etc. looking at grips by Esmeralda she has a damn near nonexistent bevel. Is that even something you look at in a grip unless you want it cut flat for a flared magwell? I actually prefer leaving them flat cut. Is a beveled bottom a necessity to you? Mods, if this is too grey delete it, no worries. |

The bevel looks nice in that situation.... most custom grip makers I have encountered leave them flat (magwell cut) until paid for, and will bevel to customer preference.....

Imo if the gun doesn’t have a magwell then the grips should be beveled or they just don’t look right. Nice grips your making by the way.
