Considering picking up a Beretta 92 stainless. Made in Italy, no warning on the receiver and all stainless parts. seems in good condition. Store wants $425 + tax and shipping so $487 all said and done.

If it has the real stainless magazines bodies with the anodized silver base pads it’s an even better deal

Well I FO'ed.

Did a little research, model is a PO9219FSST made in 1993. It was made in Italy and doesn't have that abnoxious warning label on the slide. The dust cover is straight. I ordered some new grips, grip screws, recoil spring and two magazines. Can't wait to take it out soon.

I would also order a spring kit from Wolff Gunsprings. A DAO mainspring, a reduced power trigger return spring & *I* would up the recoil spring by a couple of lbs. The improvement in the trigger is well beyond the $20 the spring kit costs, IMO.

I have a no-plastic Inox 92FS & last year bought an Inox Compact. I've not yet swapped out all the plastic shit Beretta has seen fit to add to their modern guns. I just wish mine didn't have the GD light rail. My blued Compact doesn't have it & it looks a WHOLE lot better, IMO.
