I recently acquired a pre-owned fnp-45 tactical and have been doing some research on optic mounts.
Are the mounting plates for the fnp and Fnx the same? Are there any dots that mount to the slide without the need for a plate?
[Last Edit: AK-12]
IIRC the optics plates did not change with the evolution to the FNX from the FNP. Midwest Gun Works has parts diagrams that will allow you to confirm part numbers to be sure.
AFAIK there are no optics that will mount directly to the slide. You do NOT need a sealing plate for an RMR.

Not currently. Holosun is coming out with the SCS, but the FNX is not on the radar anytime soon. Looks to be MOS, VP9 OR, FN 509.
