I currently do not have anything manufactured by FN. What would you consider to
be a good representation of the brand? I am not looking for a "best of" argument.

I do not mind if it's DA/SA, hammer or striker fired, thumb safety or not. It will not
replace my current daily carry, but it will be taken to the range - not relegated to
the safe. I would prefer a minimum of 15 round capacity.

FNS 9. AIM Surplus still has a few left.

Gunprime has the 509 midsize MRD for $498 when added to cart. That’d be my choice. Or a FXN45 tactical if you don’t mind spending the money - 15 rounds of 45 and it shoots quite well.

The FN 509M would make an excellent, do all pistol from FN.

The FNX-45 is also an awesome gun that highly represents the FN America brand.

The FiveseveN is also very representative, but more of the Belgian side of FN.
