I like the FN 509 series but their magazine availability is the worse. Did FN stop making magazines? I can only find 17 round magazines in stores.

High demand has them in and out of stock.  I found what I needed using back in stock notifications at several sites.  Primary Arms and Midwest Gun Works if i recall correctly.

I just went through something similar trying to find mags for my FNX .45 Tactical. I just hit a ton websites and signed up to be notified when they were back in stock. Within 2 weeks I had all the magazines I needed.

Panic buying has then out of stock everywhere. I've been looking for 17 rounders for my 509 Tactical.
