I wish they'd done closer to the Glock one, or incorporate the grip module like B&T. I dont like the extra mag holder, so went with B&T, would rather have had Flux

Anybody got a Raider in hand yet? I ordered on day 1, and just passed the 8 week mark today. Havent seen their instagram with the huge crates of boxes to be shipped and im getting fidgety

My big question is when will the mp17 / raider will be available again to order.... I missed out on the first run. I'm assuming they're fulfilling batch orders before new ones become available....
If I'm right, and as the post above mentioned they're at the week 8 mark of an 8-10 week lead time , then we would be very close. Hopefully I'm warm? |

Does anyone know how the safety works? I’m a Glock guy and it’s new to me. Does the fcg need to be a safety fcg or does the flux have a proprietary safety built in? Is there a parts checklist of what to get for a non sig guy?

On their intsgram it says a few people have received shipping notices. I have not yet. All orders were on the same day, they were only on sale for a few hours.

Mine is order #1248X
No shipping notice for me yet. A bunch of responses on the Flux instagram say they have shipping notices over the past few days. Most of them have private accounts, so when I clicked on them to see if they posted pics I couldn't see. None of the few public accounts have posted pics on their own instagram. |

Well this is bullshit. I was told by Flux several months ago to sign up for the email notification on the product page and I’d received an email when they go on the site plus and email a day or two in advance with a heads up. Just checked my email thinking I received it and missed it and nothing. Went to their site to put my email in again and it says I’m already signed up. So I never received any notifications at all, how did everyone else get them?

bummer. I didnt sign up, just caught it on instagram i think and threw my wallet at the screen. The turn around time was WAY shorter than my original MP17, i think they can produce these a lot faster, so keep watching. If i see any social media posts about new drops ill post here since i know not everyone does that stuff

Iron sights are usable. The optic mount has a pass through under the rail specifically for that purpose.
I have a Romeo5 sitting under the Christmas tree. my bigger concern is the massive amount of 9mm I am about to run through! |

Mine arrived. New feature set is awesome. Speed load works just like you'd expect. It's a big upgrade over the mp17, which i also have.
The thumb safety is a little odd. Moderate force on the trigger will still fire, while also moving the safety. I have the Agency shoe installed. The right side ambi safety digs into the web of my thumb a bit, and given enough pressure will fire, I'll probably look into a way to delete the lever with some sort of indicator to replace it. Plastic quality is different, smoother feeling. There are mold seams you can see and feel. I ran my thumbnail along them and they aren't as pronounced. Feels more "mass produced" than the mp17 and I don't think it's a bad thing. The mp17 milled plastic was a little odd as well. Not a value judgement, just an observation. Some things I didn't expect. The arm brace has 4 distinct positions, and can be moved inward after the initial deployment snap. If you have giant forearms, this should help. The sight housing is lower profile than the mp17 and I can see more with the backup irons. Mine will get the rmr from the mp17 once I find a low profile pic mount. I'll do another update then. I hope to get mine running with an obsidian 9 and either the griffin or Grey ghost barrel and a DPM recoil spring, as suggested by the Flux team. |

I took the Flux by a certain group of law enforcement, and they were all digging it hard! Lots of guys asked about ordering, I told them "Good Luck!" I mean I got mine, but it took forever. I am in a way glad, as I would have had the original, not the Raider.
When I was showing it to certain higher up, older, BTDT guy, and got to the quick change mag setup, someone else joked "yeah, in case you didn't get them with the first 20." The BTDT guy's face lights up and he recounts: "I was out on the range with the DEA, and they were like "where's your fourth mag?" "Fourth mag? WTF? If I have to go to a second mag we have seriously fucked up this operation and probably deserve to all get bingo'd. My third mag is for covering everybody while we get the hell out!" I'm still pretty salty about that facebook group not letting me in. @squeethebee any wird on holsters? |

If anyone has concerns like I did about the safety being overcome with sufficient force, I’ll add that no amount of pulling causes the safety to fail with my x-compact fcu.
