Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Extended barrel and suppressor issues?

Was curious if running a suppressor on an extended pistol barrel would cause problems. I dont mean a barrel where only the threading extends past the slide. I was thinking more along the lines of a threaded 6inch barrel on a Glock 17 or 19.

Would having that much of the barrel extended and having a suppressor hang off it cause reliability issues?

You might have issues with the suppressor booster trying to do its job.

Depends on suppressor too. Weight can become a factor as well as spring weight
