His bedside gun, Model 66 2.75"er.   Beautiful gun.  Not sure what dash it is.  Maybe I'll get him to look and see.  I think it might be a -2, like my Model 19.

One of my favorite things about this drawing is the texturing I did on the hammer, but you guys can't really see it.  I might have to take a close up of that.  LOL.

Thank you very much!!!!

I  only did 1 so far.  I did my Son.....

It turned out OK, it sorta, kinda resembles him but the dimensions aren't right.  I think if I worked on them more, I could do OK.  But I need the right picture and perspective.  The further away someone is, they harder it gets.  Exponentially.   There's not doubt about it, machines are easier to draw than people, and animals.  IMHO.

Why do you ask?

Wow.  That makes me feel really good.  Thank you. There is a lot I like about this one.  And some I don't.  But that's just how it goes.  I'm not going to start over on it.  LOL.

Now to figure out what to do next.  I've got some good pics and plenty of models to choose from.....

Well that's big motivation right there.

I'm going through my pics as to what I'm going to do next.  Right now it's down to a 642, 1917 or 38/44.  Unless something else jumps out at me in the next week or so.

Thank you again sir for all the correspondence and attention.  I have been blessed and hopefully we can still talk more.  I know you will be busy writing other blog articles too.  But it has been a blessing getting to know you.

To all of you, this nice gentlemen saw fit to use my story and drawings in TFB  (the firearm blog).  I was very flattered, honored and blessed.  And thankful that some people struggling with some disease, same or other, may be blessed by it and find their own way to cope.  Or it helps them to draw too.  Or paint.  Or whatever helps get their mind off of the hard things of life.  In a positive way.

Got any good pics?  I'm having a heck of a time deciding what to do next.  Each time I think I've decided, I change my mind.  There are so many good ones.

Elmer Keith's #5 customized revolver. Basically he developed the .44 magnum in this.

Talk about making a guy crap his pants.  LOL.  That one might be out of my league.

I'd really like to do Patton's .357, but I've yet to get a good pic of it.  Someone sent me a real good pic of it but when I downloaded it to my computer, it got all wonky.  And all the other pics I have of it are real small...  I could maybe go from the small pics, but I'm usually going off of a pretty good pic so I can see the details well....   But if I had a good pic of Patton's gun, I would definitely do that next.

I don't think I'll be doing that .44.  I'm not in single action mode at all.  I like them.  I wouldn't mind owning one (I have two Black powder guns but no centerfire), but it's not really a passion of mine.

I have a weird, unexplainable downright obsession of Double Action revolvers.  Mostly Smith's but I can get behind other brands too.  I'm not sure I'll ever draw another brand, but we'll see.

My wife said it brought a tear to her eyes when she read it.  Very cool.  She's been through a lot too.  Not only do I fight the health problems, she fights them with me.  And puts up with a lot.  I am blessed.

Got people praying for you guys!!!   What a blessing this has been.
