Quoted: Looking for a 1911 in 45 ACP to shoot suppressed. Budget friendly is a plus. Thoughts / suggestions appreciated. I had C&H do a direct mill on my daily carry RO Elite. Rock solid, clean lines, and added the PMM rear sight that sits in a Trijicon RMR or RMRcc, so the rear sight isn't an afterthought. Minus the optic, the work was under $300.     |

No. They way you’re looking is going to be 4 figures.
I dropped a threaded barrel into my baer and enjoy it. Maybe wait for the prodigy from Springfield, I imagine threaded barrels and 45 versions come soon. |

Actually Girsan has an optic on a 1911, I don’t remember if it were threaded but not much of a stretch.
