Title is the question, want a PX4, deciding on caliber. While I would be fine with the 9mm, I wanted either a .40 S&W or .45 ACP pistol, and as the PX4 has all three calibers, was curious if either of the other two are worth while, or if I should just stick with the 9mm and look at a different gun for .40 and .45ACP.

The .45ACP PX4's work very well, the rotating barrel make's it feel like the recoil is reduced.

I have the 40, it's performs well, accurate, less felt recoil than other 40's I've shot.

That being said, I wish I would've gotten the 45 instead since I'm phasing out 40 in my gun collection.

.40 is really smooth shooting.

I'll second that.
Less snappy than my Glock .40.

I have a FS PX4 in .45.
I like it and enjoy all my PX4s.
I am patiently waiting for the PX4 Compact in .45 to be released.
I also want a PX4 SD .45 at a reasonable price.

I have the px4 full in 9mm, two compacts in 9mm and a 45 px4.

I was looking at the px4 in 40 but found an APX, thank you, God! I love that gun! It is the most natural shooting pistol I have.

I bought an inox px4 in .40 from AU for $375 just to add .40 to my collection. It's a great gun and has been reliable thus far. I say buy one!

I have a buddy who has the PX4 in 40, it's his favorite handgun and has been for several years.  I just picked up a FS PX-4 in 45 today, was a used range gun that was going out of inventory at a local range.  I can't wait to get it out and shoot it.  Just need to find another 10 round mag for it.

I picked up a police trade-in 40 recently.  Haven't gotten to shoot it yet, but in just handling it I really like it.  Price was too good to pass up ($199, ended up at about $350 with some extra mags, safariland concealment holster, backstrap kit, mag release button kit, and an 11# hammer spring from Langdon).  Planning on shooting it this weekend.
