I would LOVE another supplier of 5.7 ammo.... Nothing against federal or FN but I need some more ammo! |

Keep in mind that BOTH FN SS197 (Blue Tip) and Federal American Eagle are actually Fiocchi loaded using cases supplied by FN. Fiocchi also loads the new Speer load. Fiocchi’ s QA/QC leaves a LOT to be desired in 5.7X28mm.

I spoke to Magtech US VP and according to him the lot that my friend got offered was a small sample lot based on the boxes. It sounds like it shouldn't have gotten out but they don't know how it got out

The big question: is S&B making the brass or getting it from FN ?

Packaging looks similar to the early, Belgian made ss195 I imagine S&B is loading loading using FN brass, serving a similar function as Fiochi is here in the US. |

Has FN told anyone what the secret sauce they use for case coating is? I think that would be one of the big hurdles in mass production of 5.7
