Their frames and slides are junk

The frames I've had zero issues with. I have approximately twenty-five hundred through one of them and they are good to go as stated. I could just be lucky.

My 3 CA frames have been good to go.  One has over 4000 rounds and I trust it enough to carry.

I definitely recommend using Glock OEM parts and known good quality after market parts.

sorry, was driving.

none of their parts fit right without extensive filing to fit on the slide and frame i got.
i gave up and threw it in the box and just bought a complete dagger slide and frame from psa for under 300.
i've been a glock armorer since 2002 and have built many a gun and rifle. so building guns isn't new to me. it's easier to build a 1911 then it was for me to work on the combat armory stuff.

My example has been great ... fits awesome and feels awesome ...

Key to it is ... is using OEM lower parts kits ... with an OEM or high quality slide ...

The only thing I noticed on my 3 frames are the pin holes are tighter than the OEM Glock frame.  Other than that everything fit and functioned just as good as my OEM Glock frame.  Again, I used Glock OEM small parts.  I did use an Agency Arms trigger on one and an Overwatch Precision on another.

I am using a Brownells RMR slide on the one with 4000 rounds through it.  I still have the others using Glock OEM slides but I will probably be switching one for a Remsport RMR slide.

You've posted that before, and you're one of the few (that I've seen) who have voiced an issue with their frames.  Maybe more people had issues and they got it fixed without saying anything. I know I've read some comments about the quality of their locking block. I happen to pick up an OEM one I'll be putting in mine anyway, so one less issue to deal with.

There's a much bigger group of people who have experienced "displeasure" when dealing with their slides.

I have no experience with Combat Armory slides but I have three of their Glock 19 clone frames.   I used two Combat Armory LPK’s and one LPK from Aim Surplus.   All three frames have been gtg but two needed a few rounds before the trigger/FCG wore in.   I really like the CA frames better than the Dagger frame.   I’m using a Dagger slide with Venom on one CA frame.   The other two CA frames are used with Advantage Arms conversion kits.   One kit is an Optics Ready MOD kit and the other is a AA 19/23 LE kit.

Here is a picture of a Combat Armory frame, Dagger slide, Combat Armory 9 MM barrel and Vortex Venom 3 MOA red dot sight.

Here is a picture of my AA 19/23 MOD kit with a fifteen round AA magazine in the well of my Combat Armory frame.

Love my CA frame. No issues with it whatsoever.

So the question is 40 cal in a combat armory frame? Is it holding up?

I see no wear on my Combat Armory frames.  I tried a Glock 23 slide on my Combat Armory frame with a 336 ejector and my Glock 23 with CA frame ran fine with my reloads.   I bought a Glock 23 parts kit from Aim Surplus but already had a Glock 23.3 frame mated to an Advantage Armory kit.  I put the like new Glock 23 slide on my 23.3 frame and moved my AA 19/23 LE kit to a Combat Armory frame.   I have a Glock 22.3 and 27.3.  Always wanted a 27.3 so now I have one but I’d would run a 40 slide on the Combat Armory if I didn’t already own a Glock 23.3 frame.   I always try to inspect my guns for wear when I clean them.  I’d just keep watch on the CA frame to see if it shows any battering.  I watch my 40 Glock pistols for wear so normal procedure for me.

Will take back half of what I said.

Dug the 9mm frame out. It went together fine. The slide fit was horrendous. It pissed me off so bad I threw everything back in the safe. Lol

My rear sight dovetail was WAY too tight and my Aim Surplus RMR cover plate doesn't line up.  Unfortunately, since I do not have an optic, I don't know for sure if the optic cut is off or the plastic cover is off

Glad your frame went together well enough.

I will grab a gen3 compatible slide to try on the frame.

If I remember I will dig out the combat armory slide and see if it fits a Glock frame.

I have 2 Combat Armory frames, and 2 of the SCT frames. Assembled with Glock OEM frame parts, I like them both. Only have 1 spare Dagger top half I switch around, need to buy 3 more Dagger complete slides.

I’ve got the CA and SCT frames. Both work. I think the SCT is better made, but the CA frame is better (for me anyway) to use.  The CA frame isn’t as “refined”, I guess?!?!  The stippling and frame shape on the CA is superior to the SCT.
