If they could only replicate the origional blue.

That's the best looking 3" IMO. I'm gonna need one of those!

Damn! In the various gun wish list/SHOT threads I mentioned wanting a 3” Python with a full length ejector rod. This is great!

Looks like Davidsons doesn’t have any in stock, has anyone seen them available yet? Thanks.

Bad ass looking! But I'll stick to my 4.25"

Damnit.
I’ll be snagging one of these. |

From the days when all the gun rags touted the RRA DEA rifle as the greatest ever. Those were the days when Magpul made magpuls, Bushmaster was Tier 1, Eotechs and vertical grips were awesome!

Are aftermarket grips available for the new pythons?

I don't know nothin'. I just post here.

There are 2 on Gunbroker right now. Davidsons has one of them, over $2k with 12 days to go. I think I’ll wait a while.

I see more showing up on Gunbroker. They seem to be coming in a bit faster than the initial run of 4 & 6” versions. Even see some sequential s/n pairs. I tend to think pricing will drop quite a bit over the next month or so.

Maybe next will be 4” Anaconda
I am going to have to get one when the prices come down. On GB they are selling for over 2k
I did a search for Python 3" for sale and I was amazed at the number of scam sites showing them for sale at or below MSRP. Zelle and Bitcoin, plus it was obvious that someone who didn't know English did all the writing |

I bought a 3" at PSA in Columbia yestetday. (Feb.1).
I love it. I bought the 4.25" a few days earlier but when I saw the 3" I had to have it. |
Armsunlimited.com has them currently in stock for $1499.00 As of 7/13/22.

3" is my favorite inches on revolvers.

Colt's web page for the Python lists 3", 4.25" and 6" barrels. I am sure Colt changed to 4.25" barrel instead of 4" to satisfy Canadian gun laws, but now Trudeau has said no more firearms sales at all.

Why do they put target grips on the 3", combat grips are so much better and size appropriate.
Just got one. Replacement grips on the way (yes the targets are too big for the three inch guns)
I bought one a few months ago.
Same store has a 6" s& w m27. But I can save a few hundred more and maybe pick up a 6" python with no hole and superior craftsmanship. So I have a 4" and 3" python, 2" and 4" king cobra. 6" ers are hard to fit in my safes see. Good thing I'm out of room so I don't need to worry about that issue now. ![]() |
