Doesn't appear that they are offering a 4" (4.2"?) barrel as yet. Too bad. 6" isn't bad, 8" is not good looking. 4" is where it's at. I'd almost consider trading my Ruger Redhawk .44 Mag for one if they offered the short barrel.

I have a real nice early 60’s S&W 29-1 but she doesn’t get shot that often so the new Colt would be nice. |

So are they going to use that "funky" excuse they used for a "polished finish" on the new Python? Anyone know the technology behind that "polish?" At best, it appears to me, to be a fine grit bead blast. (?)

I wish they'd bring back the Cobra or Agent snubbie as a shrouded hammer.
If I could get CTC laser grips for it, I'd carry that in a heartbeat. |

For $1,500 I hope it is as smooth and slick as a good Python. If it is a truly quality design and execution I would pay that for a modern Python experience in my favorite revolver caliber. Just hope it isn’t Walmartized Python-like.
Oh yeah, in 4” for me. I might go 6” but prefer 4”. |
