A local shop advertised this as "heavily used" and said that it sometimes wouldn't lock open on an empty mag.  But for $200 with 2 factory mags, I didn't care.

I don't think this is "heavily used"...just "used".  The matte finish frame is a little rough to the touch.  I haven't handled many of these but I think that's the way it is supposed to be.  And the "won't lock back" seems to be just with one of the included mags.  The other seems fine.  I have 2 more factory mag here and 2 Metalform mags on the way, plus replacement springs from Wolff.  Pretty happy with the deal and my buddy that showed me the ad is green with envy!






At the same time, I also picked up a nearly-new, in box Beretta Model 86 (also in .380).

I just inherited my Dad's Govt 380 in stainless. I've been enjoying learning about these little pistols.
Going through it, and getting it setup as a solid CCW has been fun.

Nice little project for these times. You can enjoy it and not worry about getting a scratch on it.

The two Colt mag that came with the gun and the one additional used Cold mag all have trouble with slide lock.  Two new Metalform mags seem to work great.  I have 3 +5% (or 10%) Wolff mag springs on the way to update the Colt mags, so we should be all good after they are in.
