Stumbled across one at the LGS this morning. Didn’t even know such a creature existed. Three inch Colts of any flavor seem pretty rare.
Any idea on how many 3 inch 22 Cobras may have been made? |

Right at $1k. High but the only one sold on GB recently was over $2k. Jacobson’s Gun Center in Story City IA. He gets interesting stuff. Shopped there for years.
Yes I bought it. I have a bit of a fetish for three inch revolvers. |

Interesting, I don't see many 3''Cobra's of any caliber locally. I'd be sorely tempted at a grand.

That was my thought. Three inch Colts of any flavor are almost unheard of. For some reason that was never a popular choice with Colt.

This is the only 3'' Colt Cobra I have ever run across. .38 special which was made in more numbers then the .22's were.

I’ve got one of the 3” 22lr Cobras. No box either. Bought it and a 2” 38 Cobra the same day. I’m embarrassed to say how cheap I got both of them for but it was close to 10 years ago. Paid $600 for both……
Still have them in the safe. |
