I'm starting to get interested in the pocket guns of yesteryear.  Looking at a 1908 Colt vest pocket (manufactured in 1920) with two magazines and a pouch.  Bluing looks pretty good.  The bore is dirty, but doesn't look rusted as far as I can tell.  Is $575 in the ballpark for this pistol?

Looked them up on Gunbroker under Guns that actually sold

They go for between $300-$400 in similar condition

The bluing looks to have been refinished sometime in the past as it is quite good.  Does that add or take value?

If it’s re blued it’s not worth much . I got a nice beater, ( pristine internals ) for 300 last year and added a threaded barrel .  I say your best bet is to just poke around small gun shops . Sometimes you can find these pretty cheap.

The FN M1905/1906 "Second Model Safety" was the European version of the Colt 1908.
They are identical and Colt parts drop right in.
I bought my FN as a bag of parts cheap.
The couple of parts I needed were Colt from Jack First.

I have one and enjoy carrying it, 50k serial number that puts it in a 1911 production date.
