So, what color do you prefer for carry?

Like the Model T, any color as long as its black.

I have preferences for the gun itself, but for carry?  Don't really care, and not sure why it would be a consideration.

Your poll needs a "Who cares?" option.

If someone ever falsely accuses you of brandishing, they’re likely going to say it was a black Glock if asked to describe it.

An unlikely scenario, but worth consideration IMO.

Not worried so much about the color.  It's reliability and accuracy for me.

P07 has an FDE slide.  Why?  After milling for the red dot and the new rear sight location the slide had to be refinished and FDE looked good at the time.

New P07 has a black slide.  Why?  Nitride is black and more durable than cerakote.

FNS-C has a black slide.  Why?  It came that way and was too good a deal to pass up.

P01 is urban gray.  Why?  It was the only P01 Omega I could find at the time so that's what I bought.

I have come to believe, which is what Massad Ayoob stated in at least one book, that silver-colored weapons "look bigger."

I think that helped me the one time I had to draw to stop an attack.  Based on the attackers' reactions, I'll bet that silver J-frame looked the size of a 8.8 cm KwK 43!

I have mostly black, a few stainless revolvers, and one nickel revolver. Concealed is concealed. The color doesn't matter much.

All of my sidearms are and have been factory black except for two: my wife's G42 that I had TiN'd rose gold, and my G17 that got sent off to Primary Machine and got cerakoted MC Black.

Black? I don't really give it much thought.

ETA: Although, in CCL class, the instructor mentioned not carrying flashy colored guns, with the reason that it would be easy for witness(es) to say "He pulled out a big red, white, and blue gun, Your Honor"

Really don't care what the color is. As long as it works. I carry Glock 19 (Black) or M&P9 (FDE) or 2 tone S&W 1911 or a Kimber Pro TLE/RL (Black).
