Tried asking in GD and didn’t get any response so figured I might get more input here.

As the “other white meat” of entry-level 2011s currently on the market next to Staccato, I’m wondering who opted to go the Bul Armory route for their doublestack 1911 goodness? What’s your experience been? Quality, reliability, fit and finish? Is it your competition gun, carry gun, do-all general purpose pistol? What would you change about it if you could?

I have 3. Have not had time to shoot them yet. Attachment Attached File
2 are the sas 2 tac 4.25 and 1 is the sas 2 UL. The triggers are amazing and they seem well put together. Megcar is now making mags for them but they are only available overseas that I can find. Which is where I ordered mine. Pic below. Attachment Attached File
Bul also sells a couple flavors of mags for them.  I bought a couple mbx mags also at $124 each. 1 works. 1 doesnt. You can also buy most parts or upgrades direct from bul on their website. Rear sight is glock cut. Optic cut is rmr. Trigger shoe is modular. Want a flatface trigger or longer reach trigger its a 5 minute job. Edit:::bul has a youtube channel that can watch for some info.

Love mine. All I do is load mags. The gun has been flawless at almost 1k rounds. My trigger broke at 2 1/4 out the box. i actually heavied it up to 3 1/4. If you can find one I would highly recommend getting one.
Note: I did a home cerakote on the grip safety.

Handled them, but never fired one.
