Does Beretta sell replacement parts for their 17 round mags? I can't seem to find them anywhere. Springs, followers, floor plates...they are all different than the "standard" 15 round mags.

I just picked up a new 92x and wanted to put back some spare parts, but I'm coming up empty when it comes to the mags.

Thanks in advance for any help.

If they are made by MecGar like most Beretta mags, you might check with them.

Or plan B. Just get more magazines to stash away.

I need to be able to fix what I have. The base plates especially are prone to breakage. I don't want to throw out the whole mag just for that.

If there's some MecGar spring/follower combo that will work I'm all ears, but nothing looks like a direct replacement.

Beretta used to sell a branded spring and follower combo...

I usually just use wolf +10% power springs in my 15-rounders.

I'll see if I can find it.

ETA: Here it is from Beretta directly.

The 17 round mags are completely redesigned. That's for the standard 15 rounders.

Your best bet is to call Beretta directly, and ask. They sell parts that aren't listed on their webstore. If that doesn't work, try Numrich or Midwest Gun Works.

Thanks. I'm familiar with both places. I think the short answer is that Beretta just doesn't sell parts for these 17 round mags. Which sucks because they decided to make the base plates from all plastic and they are prone to breaking if you drop/train with them.

For those that care, there is another part that will work to replace the base plates. Beretta 96 Magazine Bottom, 11 Round, Plastic

I bought some and have confirmed that they work. They leave a very slight gap between the grip and the mag base, but if you didn't have the stock base plate to compare to I don't think you'd ever know the difference. Found info in this archived thread...
