I was going to pick one up a while back but decided against it when I learned about bad barrels.
Are current production pistol have okay barrels? |

My replacement barrel looked much better. It was sent to me in April.

Just bought one at Academy. Took a bore scope with me to check it. Looks perfect.

Taurus sent me some kind of blurry form that I could not read for warranty repair. 4 weeks after I put in for barrel replacements.
 Reminds me I need to call them again to see what the hell is going on.

I have seen several YT videos that are saying anything after the PT309XXX range serial numbers are good to go.
That said, they are getting hard to find. I'm guessing the word is out they are GTG and supply is low. |
