Had a set of the Hogue overmold and a set of the hogue wood I actually like the stock better. Though I’ve got small hands and they have no issue getting purchase on the stock

lol if you need 17 shots you need a high capacity rifle. If you can't get it done in 5 shots then you are probably done.

That's the same argument that my democrat colleagues make when discussing thirty round mags...

Claiming if I need thirty rounds then I am a "bad deer hunter".

More Bullets...more better.  Hopefully I will never need them but I will take my chances.

I have wheel guns for defense in but when I choose them I can admit they have limitations.

If you like your wheel gun and can eliminate a threat with it good on ya but don't use that weak argument to defend it.

I am in my 30's and carry a revolver very often. I carry a 442, 43c, 640, and a Ruger LCR. Many times I will carry two revolvers.

My Everyday Carry Gear and Why It's "Wrong"

I'm in my 50s but as much as I like my G43X and P365x, I'm thinking of switching over to an LCRx.

Thanks for posting that.  That was cram-full of information on all sorts of interesting stuff, including snubbies.

In my 30s, airweight snub everywhere for the last 2 years after resisting them for ages until I saw the weight specs, and figured it must be a typo, as all the other guns I'd listed in my spreadsheet of possibilities were in the 20+ ounce region (especially loaded).
Recently switched to a 22LR model instead of the 38, so much more fun to shoot and so much cheaper to shoot. Having 8rds instead of 5 is nice too.

The Smith 351 series are quite slick. 7 rounds of Speer Gold dots isn’t a bad option.

I was a SAW gunner in Fallujah. There's a different need conus for private citizens. The need for more than 6rounds is over blown and the mag dump mentality is dangerous. Never shoot faster than you can assess.

This.

J frame here. Because I it's so easy to pocket carry, I always carry it. Since I always carry it, I practice with it alot.

Tried all the poly wonder carries, but I'm on a farm half the time, always bending over, shoveling, in and out of tractors bending over 2,000,000 times a day they were a pain in the ass.

J frame for me.

I’d say carry what you’re confident with...

I worked UC years ago dealing with some shady people in shady areas carrying this combo.

Rescue team had long guns though...

44 y/o and my S&W 642 is my summer carry when clothes are less concealing. Pistolwear belly band with an extra speed strip and off we go.
