Anyone Build a S&W M&P M2.0 Compact From a Stripped Frame?

How are the parts availability?  I see the stripped frames for sale, wondering about the internals, slides, barrels, on and on.

A fun project or more trouble than it is worth?

I have. Wasn't too bad. Got the parts from Numerich. Hardest part is that S&W doesn't publish parts lists so it's a little bit of a guessing game on what you need. I enjoyed it. Was harder than a Glock but easier than a P320.

Any other comments welcome.

You can fit a gen 1 slide to a gen 2 frame.  Using a gen 1 slightly modified slide stop.

Where are you finding the frames/receivers?
